I'm 18, based in Iserlohn, Germany — and I started Zahov Media because I believe every business deserves to look as good as it actually is.
FROM A KID WITH A CAMERA TO BUILDING A BRAND.
I was born in Skopje, Macedonia. I moved to Germany when I was 10, landed in Iserlohn, and grew up here. I'm 18 years old. And yes — I already know what you're thinking.
Let me tell you how this started.
December 2022. I was part of the livestream and social media team at an Iserlohn Kangaroos home game. The photographer that night handed me his camera and said — try it. I took a few shots. And something clicked. Not the shutter. Something in me.
If you go back far enough in old home videos, you'll find me as a little kid with a camera in my hand. I never thought much of it. But that night at the Kangaroos game, it made sense for the first time. A camera lets me use my creativity to tell a story from my own point of view. That's it. That's why I do this.
HOW IT STARTED
THE MOMENT EVERYTHING CHANGED
"WAIT — I CAN ACTUALLY GET PAID FOR THIS?"
A few months after the Kangaroos game, the youth coordinator asked me to photograph a basketball camp. Four full days. The fee? 50 euros. At the time, I genuinely thought that was a lot. But that wasn't the point. That was the moment I knew.

WHO I AM
I started Zahov Media for one reason: I didn't want a boss. I wanted to make my own decisions, build something my way, and take full ownership of what I create. Nobody overlooking my shoulder. No compromises I didn't agree to. Just the work, done right.
Outside of work I'm at the gym, out on a run, or picking up a paintbrush. I like working on projects with people who actually care about what they're building.

Real visibility comes from having a clear point of view, showing up consistently, and making people feel something. Content without emotion, story or identity gets forgotten — no matter how polished it looks.

People see only the final edit, not the planning, shooting, gear, skill, revisions, stress, deadlines and years of practice behind it. I take this work seriously — and I work with clients who do too.

The Lesson That Changed Everything
Getting here wasn't instant. The hardest part was not seeing results immediately — and learning to trust the process anyway. The biggest thing I've learned: how important it is to value yourself, your work and your time.
